HotAir is an immensely successful website, even on its first day of being live. In the first 48hrs of being up, it received close to 300000 visits and 216 comments on the first post alone. Amazing. With artistic direction from The Blog Studio, I was in charge of integration and customization of the site using the publishing platform Wordpress.
After the artwork was created for the Birds of Wales CD design, I was able to go in and lay it out in a way that was refreshing, and simple. As always with CD packages, there is plenty of content, with a very limited budget and space. My solution is tasteful, ascetically appealing, without compromising any of the valuable information that was required on the packaging.
Bloom Company was in need of a fresh logo to help them create a buzz and prepare them for launch. With help from the Blog Studio, we created this solution which accomplishes just that. This logo will be applied to a line of stationary.
I was responsible for the concept of the The Net Consumer logo design down at the Blog Studio. They needed a solution that was very simple, easily recognizable and could have an array of colors applied to it to be used on the Net Consumer’s network of consumer targeted blogs.
Birdsofwales.com was in need of an upgrade to a more easily manageable system; including sections for merchandise, tour dates, news releases, photos, and more. I was able to take their previous design and build from it, placing it on a CMS system which gave them the ability to update it easily and more frequently, which will increase traffic to their site.
Photomedia productions (also known as photopro.com) needed a design solution that was easy to navigate was upgradeable and expandable. This was accomplished by using a flash navigation system that acts like a slide out menu system revealing sub menus. Interest is kept with a slide show of photographs from their archives that fade in and out in the header.
Through the Blog Studio, I was responsible for integrating the DTV Scoop design into the CMS System known as Movable Type.
Spinopsys was my first project at the Blog Studio. It is a bike blog written by bikers, for bikers. This site is using the Wordpress CMS System, which allows the writers to keep everything nicely categorized and moderated throughout.
